I recently joined the 8% of Americans searching for jobs during our economic recession. The church that I was serving called East Lanier Community Church was a seven year old Perimeter Church plant outside Atlanta that experienced a significant drop in giving which lead to their need to downsize full-time staffing. It came at a difficult time for my family and I since my wife let go of her job a few months prior when I received a good performance review and raise. While we will miss serving and being apart of the life of that community we are very excited to start a new journey in expanding the Kingdom of God wherever he may lead us to do so.
A little bit about me: I’m an ordained pastor with an MDiv in Urban Missions and Church Planting from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia & a BA in Pastoral Ministries. I have 12+ years of ministry experience with varying levels of exposure in all sorts of roles in the local church from directing small groups ministry, creating and directing mercy ministries, young adult ministries, discipleship and evangelism/outreach, and youth ministries.
Below you’ll find a traditional paper resume with my story, professional experience, and references on it. With this you’ll also find the link to a resume website I developed to help you as an individual or search committee get a sense of who I am and what my giftings are. There are four photo albums on this site where me and my families story is shared, as well as the ministries I’ve be apart of over the years. Feel free to pass these around. My email contact information is in them for you to follow up with me for furthering discussion.
This video intro for my resume website will help you know what to expect to find on it;
