Amos Lee was one of the artist my wife and I were considering having as our first dance music at our wedding reception last January, his song ‘In the arms of a woman’.

Amos is a wonderful singer song writer from Philadelphia, he reminds me of artist like Bruce Springsteen and David Gray with their ability to grab the commoness of life and put it into rythm that gives it continual life.

If you are interested in finding someone who’s walked on a lot sides of life (Amos was actually a schoolteacher before he became a renown musician, and he’s played along side of guys the likes of Bob Dylan), someone familiar with doing music just because he loves it, and someone who has paid his dues to be heard you’ll want to pick up his album. I think you’ll find a new favorite that none of your friends are privy to.
