I Trust You To Kill Me

Rocco Deluca and the Burden, what can I say. They remind me of more progressive rock bands like the White Stripes but they have a soft underbelly kinda bluesy country vibe in their music. This is their first album which is always interesting when you find something you like because the second album always expresses some major changes, hopefuly lyrically as well. These guys are apparently all the rage in LA right now. I’m hoping these guys will hang around and continue to make more music. A few of my fav’s off this album are ‘Mystified’, ‘Bus Ride’, and ‘Soul’. An interesting twist for this band, it was discovered by none other than Kiefer Sutherland and plays on his label – long live 24!
