good-news-blog-series-picture

I was invited by a pastor/conference speaker/ministry entrepreneur named JR Woodward to contribute to a blog discussion on what the good news is for my city (the Tampa Bay tri-metro area). Woodward’s goal for the series was to give people a glimpse of what the gospel means for cities all over as they continue to consider what the good news is for their neighbors. The series began on resurrection Sunday and ends on Pentecost, with the intent of clarifying and challenging each blog visitor to consider what the good news is. (Find our more about JR plans for this series here.)

There are pastors and ministry practitioners from all over contributing. (You can get a full list of the contributers here.) The rules for each contributor are that their post should be between 300 and 500 words long. It should be written as if it was going to be published in their local newspaper for their city to read. (As you might be able to tell my post went a little long).
